Our textile philosophy

Wool, knotting, and the proportion of a room

Every rug in our collection is chosen for the quality of its wool, the structure of its knotting, and how well its scale sits in a real interior. We keep the focus on the textile itself.

Hand-knotted tradition

Untreated natural wool, knotted by hand

Each rug is knotted by hand from untreated natural wool. The fibre keeps its own colour and lanolin, so the surface feels soft underfoot and softens further with use. Knot by knot, the geometric and tribal motifs take shape in a steady, unhurried rhythm.

Traditional motifs translate well into modern architecture: clean lines, warm earth tones, and borders that frame a room without crowding it.

Caring for your rug

Simple guidance for lasting use

A few habits keep a handmade rug looking its best for years.

Placement

Set the rug where light is soft and steady. Rotate it every few months so the pile wears evenly across the room.

Natural shedding

New wool sheds lightly in its first months. Regular vacuuming without a beater bar keeps loose fibres under control.

Seasonal upkeep

Shake or air the rug outdoors in dry weather, and spot-clean spills promptly with cool water and a mild soap.
